The overall mission of PTA is to positively impact the lives of all children and families by representing our members, and empowering and supporting them with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communications.

Lindstrom PTA is part of something much larger than just our school. We’re part of the National Parent Teacher Association, a non-profit organization that began over 100 years ago. The PTA has significant lobbying power at the state and federal level when it comes to legislation that affects our kids. With over 6.5 million members and 26,000 chapters nationwide, lawmakers have grown to respect and listen to the PTA. Our success is based largely on the numbers – together we make a lasting impact that benefits our kids.

Local unit Parent Teacher Associations (PTA) are organized and chartered in conformity with rules and regulations as prescribed in the bylaws of the National and California State PTA. These units are self-governing bodies for the purpose of planning programs and activities to meet local community needs.
